Step-by-step Procedure

Step 1
Evaluation of facial custom

The surgeon identifies the areas with expression lines and analyzes the muscle strength to determine the exact points of application.

Step 2
Application of the toxin

With a very fine needle is used to inject the botulinum toxin in specific muscles of the face such as forehead, glabellar lines, or crow's feet. The procedure takes just a few minutes.

Step 3
Recovery and control

It is recommended not to massage the area or go to bed in the first 4 hours. On day 10 we performed a medical check-up to assess the effect and make tweaks if necessary.

Care Pre – Post Surgical Botulinum Toxin

Before the procedure

Avoid blood thinners (aspirin, ibuprofen, vitamin E), alcohol and makeup on the day of the application. Inform the specialist if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

After the procedure

Do not massage or rub the treated areas for at least 24 hours. Avoid intense exercise, local heat, and bedtime during the first 4 hours. Place an ice pack intermittently if there is redness or mild swelling.
